On-line retailing versus bricks-and-mortar retailing are often talked about as ‘either/or’. Not so, says our panel. Oonagh McCutcheon, Customer Operations Manager of IE Domain Registry (where you register .ie website names), is passionate about customer service and how going digital can enhance your business – wherever you are trading. Oonagh will take us through some of latest trends and also provide information on the cost of doing digital. Digital expert, Jeff Sheridan of Matrix agency -who works with retailers such as Avoca, Newbridge Silverware and Butler’s Chocolates, shows how digital works with more traditional marketing. Jade O Connor is VP of Product and Marketing, FCR Media. She has helped shape and support the digital transformation of Irish businesses for over 15 years, by building and implementing programmes for companies such as Dublin Airport, TV3 and Guinness through to small companies and sole traders. We will be joined by retailers who will provide tips on how they work in the digital age while operating on the ground. Jennifer Slattery, textile designer, who retails her expanding range of household and clothing textiles from her Stoneybatter studio and online, joins the panel to talk her experience of using marketing techniques to reach a growing audience.
The session is moderated by James Burke, of James Burke and Associated, Retail Consultants.
